What can I expect on the day?

Enjoy Clay Pigeon Shooting with us on the exclusive Elveden Estate in the most stunning East Anglian countryside, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Whether you are a total beginner or already have experience, our clay pigeon sessions here offer tuition on a one to one basis, with a Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) qualified, instructor. You can be assured of the best teaching, which means you should be hitting those targets with ease

These 30, 40 or 50 clay packages are just right for the novice.

You should expect to be onsite for about two hours if you have 50 clay targets to aim for.

You will be taken through the basics of clay pigeon shooting, safety first, how the gun works, how to hold the gun properly and of course….. How to break some clays!

What's included in this experience?

  • Your clay pigeon shooting experience will be for either 30, 40 or 50 clays with instruction included.
  • After your welcome, a full safety briefing will be given by your CPSA qualified instructor.
  • On a 30 clay lesson you may be part of a small group.
  • You will receive one to one instruction from a CPSA qualified instructor covering basic safety and shotgun handling and operation. Guns are fitted to individuals to ensure a comfortable experience.
  • You will be taught how to shoot your clays using either a 12-gauge, 20-gauge or 28-gauge shotgun
  • All equipment including eye protection, ear defenders, gun, cartridges and clays are included.

  • This activity takes place throughout the year by prior arrangement

Where can I do this experience?

  • Elveden, Suffolk, located on the new A11 bypass.

Who is it suitable for?

  • No previous shooting experience is required as sessions are tailored towards each guest’s abilities. Low recoil cartridges are used to ensure maximum comfort. The minimum age is 14 years old and participants need to have the strength to hold the gun.

Can anyone come along and watch?

  • Spectators are very welcome free of charge - Guests may view the shooting in action but must stay within the areas designated by the instructors - Under 16s must be fully supervised at all times - You can enjoy dining in the Elveden Courtyard Restaurant, Elveden Inn or sample the shops at this award- winning shopping and eating destination,
